Manhattan Associates to Share Key Insights for Omni-channel Success at Manhattan Exchange Australia 2015

SYDNEY, October 22, 2015

Manhattan Associates’ president and CEO Eddie Capel is set to share key insights into new techniques and technologies that progressive retailers are adopting to deliver a consistent customer experience across channels at Manhattan Exchange Australia 2015. The event, the company’s annual customer conference, will take place Thursday, 29th October 2015, at Cargo Hall South Wharf in the heart of Melbourne. 

“In a market where competition is fierce and consumer expectations are skyrocketing, retailers must expand beyond simply fulfilling orders across multiple channels, to delivering an integrated experience that is as personal in the store as it is online,” commented Raghav Sibal, managing director ANZ at Manhattan Associates, who will provide the welcome address at the event.

Retailers need effective inventory management and order orchestration capabilities to meet customer demands and company objectives. In today’s high demand market, companies need to consider fulfilling orders from inventory not just in the warehouse but upstream and downstream which means connecting to suppliers and to stores and putting inventory held in these locations to work also.

Sibal continued, “Getting the back-end optimised to meet the demands of the front-end is the core of a successful omni-channel strategy and the key to driving loyalty, revenue and profitability. If the rewards realised by Australia’s retailers from ecommerce have been impressive, the potential rewards of adopting a truly omni-channel approach are huge.”
