Manhattan Wins Brandon Hall Gold Award for Supply Chain E-Learning Course

Award is the Sixth for Manhattan Associates E-Learning Courses in 2013

Supply Chain Commerce solutions provider Manhattan Associates (NASDAQ: MANH) today announced it was awarded the Brandon Hall Gold Award for Best Custom Content for its Distribution Center Operations e-learning course. The course was evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group senior analysts, and executive leadership on content, design, functionality, innovation and overall measurable benefits.

Manhattan’s “Distribution Center Operations” e-learning course provides the opportunity for learners to not only “tour” a distribution center, but also try out the activities performed. The learner experiences every day supply chain and logistics challenges first-hand, along with the benefits that Manhattan’s supply chain optimization solutions provide.

“Distribution Center Operations is the first level in a series of e-learning courses designed to initiate professionals into the deep domain expertise that Manhattan Associates is known for throughout the industry,” said Stephanie Crowe, Manhattan’s leader for global learning and customer education programs. “Our courses take learners on an interactive journey where supply chain technology meets the challenge of serving customers in an omnichannel marketplace that is constantly in flux.”

In addition to the Brandon Hall Gold award, Manhattan received five other awards from learning organizations for both its Distribution Center Operations and the Supply Chain Fundamentals e-learning course—an interactive opportunity for learners to optimize a global supply chain. In the Supply Chain Fundamentals e-learning course, each learner identifies people he or she would meet in a customer’s supply chain, and experiences how to balance customer satisfaction, revenue, and profitability in a game-like environment. The awards the courses have received include:
