Bridging The New Digital Divide at Manhattan Associates’ Momentum® 2015

Digital technologies influence half of in-store retail sales, and this number will likely increase to 64 percent, or $2.2 trillion, of in-store sales by year end, according to research from Deloitte Digital. Despite these statistics, Deloitte Digital finds a noticeable divide separates shoppers’ digital behaviors and expectations from the experiences retailers are actually providing.
Bridging this gap requires a comprehensive strategy that reaches beyond the conventional structures of “in-store” and “online” to embrace a much more integrated approach – one that places digital at the heart of the modern retail shopping experience.
