Nitori Selects Manhattan Associates to Streamline Warehouse Operations and Support Rapid Growth

Manhattan Associates Inc. (NASDAQ: MANH) today announced that Nitori Holdings Inc., a global organization that consists of retail stores, product manufacturing, material sourcing and logistics, has implemented Manhattan’s warehouse management system (WMS) at one of the company’s largest distribution centers (DCs) in the Kansai region. Faced with a challenging labor shortage, Nitori plans to leverage Manhattan’s leading WMS solutions to standardize operations, improve resource efficiency and maximize throughput across its distribution network.
Japan’s largest home furnishings retailer, Nitori has achieved 32 consecutive years of consistent growth on Febuary 2019. To further accelerate their growth and warehouse throughput, the company needed to standardize warehouse management processes and improve the efficiency of their distribution centers. Nitori aims to improve work efficiency in its Kansai DC through the introduction of Manhattan’s warehouse management system and quality improvement activities through quality control circle.

The recent implementation of Manhattan's WMS solution in the Kansai DC is expected to contribute to Nitori's future growth. Nitori has been successfully using Manhattan's WMS to manage the company's Kawasaki DC since September 2017. The company is also currently conducting a trial of using Manhattan’s WMS solutions to manage product transportation information from its manufacturing base in Hanoi, Vietnam. In addition, the company plans on using Manhattan’s solutions to standardize operations in other locations.
