Manhattan Associates Appoints Shinji Murakami as Executive Advisor in Japan

TOKYO — Manhattan Associates (NASDAQ: MANH), a global leader in supply chain commerce, today announced the appointment of Shinji Murakami as Executive Advisor, Japan, effective October 1, 2026.

In this role, Murakami will advise Manhattan on its growth strategy in Japan, strengthen engagement with customers and partners, and support the company’s continued expansion in the market. His appointment brings nearly four decades of experience across technology services, enterprise solutions, business development and go-to-market leadership.

Murakami is an experienced general manager and technology services executive with a background spanning managed services, mobile communications, enterprise services, business development and cross-functional leadership. Most recently, he served as CEO of Japan at Cognizant, where he led the company’s Japan business from 2021 to 2025. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Microsoft, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, SoftBank Telecom and IBM Japan.

Murakami holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University.
