MARCH 25, 2020

Each year, we look forward to welcoming our customers and partners to Momentum so that we can connect as a community, unveil the latest product innovations and discuss the latest trends in supply chain, inventory and omnichannel. It is clear that the Coronavirus global pandemic is going to adversely affect our ability to stage a safe user conference this year. Therefore, out of concern for the health of our customers, partners, staff and service providers, we have made the decision to cancel the in-person Las Vegas event and instead shift Momentum 2020 to a virtual online event.

Please mark your calendar for Wednesday, May 20th to participate in the first ever digital Momentum event. We are optimistic that moving to a virtual event will give more of our customers the opportunity to participate in the industry’s leading exchange of supply chain, inventory and omnichannel information.

Manhattan’s events team is hard at work transitioning Momentum to a virtual event and will be sharing additional information in the coming weeks. Details will be posted on the Momentum website as soon as they are available. In addition, we will be contacting you directly with email updates.

For those of you who previously registered to attend Momentum in Las Vegas, rest assured that we will fully refund all registration fees. You will be contacted by Momentum registration experts in the coming week, as they work closely with the Aria on hotel cancellations. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your registration refund, please contact Momentum@MeetingExpectations.com.

Thank you for being part of the Manhattan Associates family. We are proud to serve you and will continue to be your trusted partner through these challenging times.

Be safe.

MARCH 17, 2020

The rapid spread of the COVID-19 pandemic across the globe has certainly launched all of us into an unprecedented time. We are all facing an unchartered territory that impacts our families, our communities, our customers and our businesses. Now more than ever, it is important that we come together as one community and it is with this in mind that we would like to update you on how our Manhattan Associates team is responding to this crisis.

At Manhattan Associates, our first priority is the health of our team members and our community. We have been closely monitoring the global spread of the virus and taking the appropriate and responsible actions in each of our offices around the globe. We do this to both protect our own team members and others who live in the communities in which we work.

Yesterday afternoon, we instructed our Atlanta and New Jersey-based employees to work from home until further notice. With this change, all of our global offices except Shanghai have moved to a work from home approach, save a few very specific roles.

Manhattan Associates has been actively preparing for the possibility that our team members may need to work remotely. Weeks ago, Manhattan’s leadership team updated the company’s business continuity plan which we will now implement. This plan includes the following:

  • Contingency planning for all the technologies and systems that help our employees meet customer needs and obligations;
  • Evaluating our communications infrastructure to ensure that we can provide our employees a robust and sustained remote working environment;
  • Distributing and coordinating project work across our global locations; and
  • Supporting all customer activities remotely if travel becomes limited to certain regions.

This plan is fully instantiated. In light of recent developments, a significant number of our employees had already started working from home and our systems and communications infrastructure has performed extremely well under the additional load. While our U.S.-based team members are working remotely, they and their colleagues across the globe are still working at full capacity. We are maintaining normal operating levels and are committed to meeting all project deadlines.

Manhattan is leaving no stone unturned because we realize the importance of the work we do on your behalf. We have many customers that move critical supplies – food, medication, medical supplies, etc. – into our communities, and have established a specific support program for these customers so that we can respond swiftly and decisively to any urgent requests and needs.

At Manhattan, we pride ourselves on creating possibilities that move life and commerce forward. This is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our dedication to these principles and bring them to life through our actions. We realize the gravity of this moment and I assure you that we have never been more committed to your success.

And finally, on behalf of the entire Manhattan family, we extend our sincere concern for those who have directly fallen ill from the virus. We are wishing those impacted as speedy a recovery as possible.

MARCH 12, 2020

Manhattan Associates has been closely monitoring the coronavirus (or COVID-19) outbreak and its effect on our global operations and our clients’ businesses. We have established an executive-level task force to coordinate our business continuity plans, monitor the global situation as it unfolds and safeguard the health of our employees and customers. We are currently maintaining normal operating levels across the globe and are committed to meeting all project deadlines to the greatest extent possible.

Manhattan’s leadership team is actively taking steps to ensure that we are able to effectively support our customers around the world. This begins with contingency planning for all the technologies and systems that assist us in meeting our customers’ needs and obligations. We are also testing and reinforcing our communications infrastructure to ensure that we can provide our employees a robust and sustained remote working environment. Lastly, we have developed plans for distributing and coordinating project and customer support work across our global locations and conducting all customer activities remotely if travel becomes limited to certain regions.

Additionally, Manhattan Associates is supporting the global efforts to contain the spread of this virus and mitigate its impact on our employees and customers. We provide our team members with daily updates on COVID-19 news and have informed them of the steps they can take to protect their health. In accordance with these efforts, our office in Italy is temporarily closed and our employees at this location have been asked to work from their homes. As a precautionary measure, we also closed our offices in China and Germany, but they have since re-opened. We have suspended all business travel to countries on the CDC’s Travel Health Notices list, which currently includes China, Iran, South Korea and most of Europe, and cities, like Seattle, that have experienced high levels of community transmission of the Coronavirus. We have also stopped almost all non-essential travel in other geographies.
