
Danielle Sheer serves as the chief trust officer of Commvault Systems, Inc., a leading provider of cyber resilience and data protection solutions. At Commvault, she leads their business development, corporate development, cybersecurity, and governance programs. Ms. Sheer has served in that role since 2022. Prior to that, from 2019 through 2022, she served as chief legal officer of Bottomline Technologies, a provider of financial technology for business payments. Before that, Ms. Sheer served as general counsel of Carbonite, Inc., leading the company through its initial public offering. She serves on the Board of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a world-class teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, and Linksquares, an AI-powered contract lifecycle management (CLM) solution.
Ms. Sheer brings to the Board experience in cybersecurity, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business development. She holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from George Washington University.
