Shopify and Manhattan Raise $35k for Vulnerable Children at NRF 2026

Shopify and Manhattan electrified unified commerce through the Shop for a Cause experience at NRF 2026. Every live end-to-end demo of industry-leading retail tech helped vulnerable children in South Africa.

Attendees shopped a curated assortment through a live mobile experience powered by Shopify’s eCommerce platform. Manhattan’s Store Fulfillment and Point of Sale capabilities highlighted that retailers can drive incremental revenue through Buy Online Pickup In-Store orders. Every transaction demonstrated that modern, integrated platforms can turn browsing into seamless fulfillment and incremental revenue opportunities.

generated a donation to RetailROI, a nonprofit that raises awareness and delivers solutions for more than 400 million vulnerable children globally. Participation in this event helped Manhattan and Shopify donate $35,000 on behalf of NRF attendees. This year’s donation delivered help to Jeffreys Bay Primary School in South Africa, supporting educational programs that help students build brighter futures.
