Floor & Decor Unveils Optimized Inventory Capabilities
Read how Floor & Decor went from inaccurate order projections to a holistic view of inventory data with Manhattan Demand Forecasting and Replenishment.
Prior to implementing the Manhattan Demand Forecasting and Replenishment solutions, Floor & Decor relied on a legacy replenishment system that did not provide accurate long-range projections, nor bottom-up store-level demand forecasting. The result meant handling these inconsistencies manually, increasing the risk of underbuying and overbuying.
Having previously implemented Manhattan’s WMS and TMS solutions—heeding years of positive results—Floor & Decor chose to launch Manhattan’s Demand Forecasting and Replenishment, hosted in a cloud environment with existing Manhattan solutions.
The new solutions impacted business operations and improved inventory processes by eliminating the disconnect between warehouse and store forecasting and ordering, as well as the resulting order projections. The solutions now run in Floor & Decor’s four DCs and all retail stores, replacing all forecasting and replenishment systems.
