Manhattan Active Point of Sale’s robust offline capabilities allow your associates and stores to continue processing transactions, even if your network connection is unstable or drops entirely. If connectivity is lost, a notification will be proactively pushed to store associates, after which they’re able to resume assisting customers complete transactions across different payment methods.
Through regular data syncing and cache files stored on individual devices, Active Point of Sale makes sure stores can stay open amidst network challenges. Once full network connectivity has been restored, all relevant data is then sent back to the cloud for reconciliation.
